If You Need Help

Not all requests for help can be fulfilled, and most requests for help will not be carried out solely by Feral Feline Friends volunteers.  In most cases, if you ask us for help with trapping, caring for a colony, spay/neuter assistance, etc., you will be responsible for the legwork such as trapping and transporting to the clinic. We are an all-volunteer organization, and we have absolutely no paid employees and no regular hours of operation.

What We Can Do:

  • Give advice and guidance for caring for feral cats in your vicinity
  • Give instruction on using humane traps for the purpose of spaying and neutering; We can loan you our traps with a refundable deposit as trap availability allows
  • Give contact information for low-cost spay and neuter clinics
  • Centralize efforts by inviting you to attend our meetings, help us with colonies, help us with fundraising, share your experiences with us, etc.
  • Direct you to other agencies that may be more appropriate for your situation

What We Cannot Do:

  • Take in unwanted pets or stray cats
  • Come get any cat or cats that you consider a nuisance
  • Promise financial assistance or physical help
  • Provide a place for feral cat relocation

The more volunteers we have and the more donations we get, the more we will be able to provide assistance, so please consider getting involved!
